Wow! The ATL vegans came out in droves to represent at our grand opening party last night! We were so busy and excited to talk to everyone that we didn't take a single picture. Luckily we have a friend that did, so we will post them as soon as we can.
A heartfelt "Thank You!" to everyone who came out to support our little vegan store, and to support Ahimsa House, which because of all of you, we are able to donate a good little chunk of change to. Also thank you to local vegan baker Idalys Sansores of Dulce Vegan, who donated a huge pile of decadent baked treats for the party, Liz Lovely for donating samples of their famous cookies, and our new neighbors Across The Street (that's the name of the restaurant!) who came through with kick-ass tempeh-pineapple tacos, and all the fresh guac, salsa and chips we could eat.
We kept hearing positive feedback all night, and everyone seemed to have a blast. It really reinforced our faith in the vegan/AR community in metro Atlanta.
Seriously, thank you. We're verklempt.
