Now available online and in the store, fresh baked treats from Vegan Honey! Vegan Honey bakes fresh, vegan versions of childhood favorites such as the Fauxstess "Twinkies", Vegan "Chocodiles", and Krispie Squares. How good are they? Believe us when we say, "whoa"!

We were really bummed when we found out that Temptation Vegan Ice Cream was no longer available in our neck of the woods. But oh joy! Now we can make delicious Temptation Vegan Ice Cream at home in our ice cream maker! Check out the mixes here. Temptation from Chicago Soy Dairy is the only vegan ice cream available that is made on dedicated vegan equipment. Temptation is also made with fair trade cocoa. Awesome.

Lisa Bennett- Formerly of Organic Goddess fame, Lisa has been baking vegan goodies professionally for many years here in Atlanta. Lisa is no longer a vegan baker by profession, but she has the love of baked goods in her heart. Lisa really knows her stuff!


Idalys Sansores- The master baker behind Dulce Vegan, Idalys has been baking up a storm here in the ATL for quite a while. Her baked yummies can be found at the EAV Farmer's Market and other fine spots around town. And apparently, Idalys has been veganizing pound cake before pound cake was cool.


Zacoor- The chef and "Divine Nutritionist" at Soul Vegetarian on North Highland, Zacoor is the reason why Atlanta vegans have zero reason to miss traditional mac & cheese, country fried steak, homemade cornbread, and other southern-fried delights. Thank you Zacoor for keeping us fat and happy!! And by us, I mean me.

In other news, we recently discovered an animal rights-themed radio show right here in Atlanta. Second Opinion Radio! No need to be in Atlanta though, you can tune in on your computer. Second Opinion Radio comes on every Wednesday at 6:00 EST. Oh! And we will be on Second Opinion Radio on Wednesday, November 28th so tune in to hear Leigh get all nervous and ramble on about stuff.

The most anticipated cookbook of year just arrived at our store, and wow is it (she?) beautiful! We are offering Veganomicon at a special introductory price of $24.99.
