Hey local vegan folk! We have some great customers who are putting together some fun events for us Georgians.
First up we have a big ol' vegan potluck on Sunday, April 6th @ 2:30 PM. This is being organized by our buddy Ashley Nicole. The potluck will be in the picnic area of Candler Park, smack dab in the middle of the best season to live in Atlanta. Hang out, enjoy the weather, and meet other like-minded & local folks: all while sharing super tasty vegan food. Bring a vegan dish and tell your friends. We are told that there will be cupcakes. I'm pretty sure cupcakes are a legal requirement at a vegan potluck, yes? feel free to email Ashley with any questions or to RSVP: dothereggae@gmail.com. Come on, ya'll! Atl represent!
Next up, Will Tuttle will be in Georgia to lecture on his award-winning book,
the World Peace Diet.
“
Will Tuttle, the author of this eloquently written book, challenges our thinking about our relationship to non-human animals with respect, sensitivity, and grace. His understanding of the human psyche is deep. His use of language is divine, and his compassion reaches out and jumps off each and every page. I highly recommend this book, and I dare you to not be moved by its gentle power.”
-Colleen Patrick-Goudreau, author and host of Compassionate Cooks
