New Website Design!
Check out our new digs! We hope you find it easy on the eyes, and even easier to navigate. There may be a few kinks we will need to work out in the beginning, so we would love it if you let us know if you come across anything weird.

New Stuff!
Teese Vegan Cheese by Chicago Soy Dairy now comes in three flavors! Mozzarella, Cheddar, and Nacho Cheese Sauce. We have had these in the store for, like, two seconds and they are already selling like hot cakes.
Also just in, a new book called Generation V: The Complete Guide to Going, Being, and Staying Vegan as a Teenager by Claire Askew. It looks like a mighty smart book, so pick one up for yourself or your favorite vegan teen.
Finally, our new friend Greg donated a bunch of compilation CDs for us to sell to benefit the SHAC 7. You buy 'em, ad we donate the proceeds to the SHAC 7 support fund. It's that easy!

Hey Atlanta- Vegan House For Rent
A vegan family is looking to rent out their house for the first half of 2009. Are you interested? Here are the details:
Beautiful, fully furnished single-family home in Morningside for rent from January 2009 - June 2009. One bedroom, one bathroom* with full kitchen, living room, full laundry, office, and screened-in porch on first floor available to rent while our family is on sabbatical. Asking $950/month with all utilities included (including high-speed Internet and digital HD TV) in exchange for basic upkeep (e.g. watering indoor plants, feeding fish, basic maintenance of outdoor areas) and occasional errands (e.g. picking up packages at the post office). Non-smokers only. Household cookware may be used for vegetarian only.
Would be ideal for a single person or a couple without children. Close to Emory, CDC, Sage Hill shopping center, Virginia-Highlands, midtown (Piedmont Park, Atlanta Botanical Garden) and short drive to Georgia Tech. Short (<10 min.) walk to MARTA bus routes 16 and 36.
*The entire house is four bedroom, three bathroom with the additional rooms on the second floor. We will need to return occasionally during the lease period and so we will retain the use of the second floor. We will give ample advance notice of any such visits.

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu just got more awesome
This is Richard, a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and a vegan badass! Richard placed third in a recent competition, and he shared this photo of himself showing off the back of his gi. Check out the Cosmo's Vegan Shoppe patch he constructed using one of our Grocery Totes.
The moral of this story is: vegans rule.

We just got in some Halloween Chocolate Mini Bites from Sjaak's. They are available in Peanut Butter and Orange flavors. Yum!
