As of yesterday, Uncle Eddie's has voluntarily recalled their Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies as a precautionary measure. If you have purchased this product from us in the last two weeks via our online store, then we have already contacted you via email regarding a refund. According to our records, only two bags of this product have been sold in our walk-in store in the past two weeks, one on 1/21 and one on 1/22. If you made one of these purchases in our Atlanta store, please bring back your bag along with the receipt for a refund.

Hey Atlanta vegans! Graveyard Tavern in East Atlanta is offering up a vegan night on Thursdays. This is a new thing, so they are planning on continuing with the vegan options if people are interested. We loved it last week! The menu last week was a pre fixe, three course offering for $20 per person. The starter was a delicious, char-grilled veggie stack with black bean sauce, followed by a Tofurky Italian Sausage pappardelle, and finished with a pineapple orange freeze for dessert. It was well worth the $20, for sure!

Do try to stop by Graveyard Tavern for dinner tomorrow night. Hooray for more good vegan options in the ATL!

We want to take a moment to share with you some awesomeness happening up in Portland, OR. The Let Live Foundation is a new non-profit organization with the mission that is "to inspire activism for animals through community based events that are both inclusive and inspiring." Not only do these guys put on an annual Animal Rights Conference in Portland, they organize monthly events as well as provide educational videos free of charge, for those unable to travel to conferences.
