Cosmo's in Boston and showroom hours this weekend
We are packing up and ready to hit the road for The 14th Annual Boston Vegetarian Food Festival this weekend! This fun food fest is two days long this year, and admission is free. Won't you stop by the Cosmo's table and say "hi" to us? And possibly purchase a nice candy bar or belt? Perhaps a book or a wallet? We will have lots of goodies with us.
Since we are a two person operation here at Cosmo's HQ, our brother/brother-in-law Greg will be helping out at the showroom on Friday and Saturday. Regular showroom hours apply! But please be aware that our showroom will be closed on Monday, November 2nd. We will be back on Tuesday and ready to sell you some vegan cheese! Or anything else you might like, for that matter. See you then?

That's right, and all vegan bakery! Sarah whips up some mighty good treats, including cakes, muffins, brownies, canoe boats, and more. She even has some gluten-free offerings. Introducing Match Premium Vegan Stuffed Holiday Roasts!
We are pretty big fans of vegan Match Meats around here. In fact, did you know that Cosmo's has been offering Match Meats for over a year now? Well, we have! Check out our frozen faux meats section and find all six flavors of Match.
This year, Match has sent us a special shipment of their Premium Vegan Stuffed Holiday Roasts! The roasts are in very limited quantity, so be sure to purchase yours soon before they're gone for the season. I know we keep saying that about our seasonal products, but it's very true. Vegan Jewelry and a Dance For the Pigs
Just in time for holiday shopping! We have some beautiful new ethically made, vegan jewelry in stock. New styles are available from vegan artist Christy Robinson, as well as restocks on some old favorites. Proceeds go to PIGS sanctuary, a place of refuge for abused, abandoned, neglected and unwanted animals. Party hard and help some piggies!

Happy Friday to all! We have two new products in stock that we hope you'll like.
Vegan Cookies Invade Your Cookie Jar by Isa Chandra Moskowitz and Terry Hope Romero is fresh baked and available for purchase! This new book title has been flying off the shelf since we tweeted about their arrival just a few hours ago. In fact we only have a couple copies left! But if you aren't able to purchase your copy this weekend, please don't fret. We have more coming in just a few days!
Another newbie product that arrived today are the mini marshmallows from Sweet & Sara. These are the same gourmet marshmallow goodies you know from Sweet & Sara, just cut down for ease of use into a nice cup of hot cocoa. Each little bag contains 2.5 oz of baby mallows for only $1.99.

Oct. 24--Yerkes--National Primate Liberation Week
This just in from Georgia Animal Rights and Protection:
It's National Primate Liberation Week from 10/17 thru 10/24.
Please join other like-minded people who care about the suffering of primates when we gather at the stone gate entrance of Emory University on Saturday, Oct. 24 from 11:00 AM till 1:00 PM to educate the public about what's happening in their own backyard.
If you're not aware of the suffering, take a look at some of the life stories of primates who have unnecessarily suffered and died right here in the Atlanta metro area---perhaps just down the street from where you live or work. While we are at work, when we go out to lunch, and as we do all the things we enjoy with family and friends, there are primates in Emory's Decatur laboratory self-mutilating because of the pain they are in.
The Animal Welfare Act does allow pain.....there's even a government form for researchers to complete and list the number of animals who experience extreme pain-----it's Column 5 --- where they place the number of animals who go thru this torture. What about those who are never reported? Don't let anyone convince you that all's well in the labs!
Read more about Yerkes at Primate Freedom and think of all the reasons we should speak for them on Saturday, Oct. 24. Please don't park on private property.

We have a great new cookbook in stock called Quick and Easy Vegan Comfort Food by Alicia C. Simpson. We are so happy that an Atlanta vegan is out there making waves with her great new book! Alicia is just as sweet as pie, and her new book looks simply fabulous. She even shares a few sample recipes on her website here.
