When will my order be shipped?
  • Orders placed will usually be shipped within 24 hours. If we are out of stock on an item from your order, you will receive an email or phone call update notifying you of any possible delay.
  • Orders paid via Paypal's Echeck will be held until funds are released into the Cosmo's Vegan Shoppe Paypal Account.
  • Please note: UPS will not deliver on Saturday or Sunday. USPS Priority will deliver on Saturdays.
    *Please note, we care about your privacy and security. Therefore, we reserve the right to cancel and refund any order if the order appears to be fraudulent.

What shipping companies do you use?
  • We can ship your order either UPS or USPS. You will have the choice to pick either UPS or USPS when you check out.
  • For our customers that require expedited shipping, we provide: UPS 2nd Day Air and UPS Next Day Air.
    • Please note, UPS will not deliver on Saturday or Sunday. .
      • For example: If you place an order on Thursday and select UPS 2nd Day Air, your order will arrive either on Monday (if you place your order before 1:00 pm EST) or Tuesday (if you place your order after 1:00 pm EST) of the following week.
      • For example, if you place an order on Thursday and select UPS Next Day Air, your order will arrive on Friday (if you place your order before 1:00 pm EST) or Monday (if you place your order after 1:00 pm EST) of the following week.

  • Please remember, UPS does not ship to PO boxes.
  • If you live in Canada, we will ship via USPS either Global Priority or Global Express.
  • Deliveries to an APO/FRP, will ship via USPS Priority. Please allow 10-15 days for delivery to APO/FPO.
  • If you live outside the U.S. and Canada, we will ship Global Priority or Global Express.

How much is shipping?
  • We offer price-based standard shipping prices for non-rush orders, which vary depending on what part of the United States you live in. We also offer expedited shipping methods for those who need their order to arrive quickly. Standard shipping prices are as follows:

If refrigerated or frozen foods are included, you must choose an expedited option such as UPS 2nd Day Air. Expedited shipping costs will be determined at checkout. Standard shipping cannot be used for refrigerated or frozen foods shipping to these states.


    Cosmo's Vegan Shoppe's "Standard Shipping" may ship via UPS, USPS, or FedEx, depending on what we decide will work best for your order. If you prefer a specific shipping method, you may choose from the other shipping methods provided at checkout. The standard shipping costs apply to our choice of shipping method only. Other shipping options will be provided upon checkout, such as USPS Priority Mail, UPS 2nd Day Air, and UPS Next Day Air. These costs are weight-based, and will vary depending on the weight and quantity of items you purchase. Shipping costs do not include any cooler charges, ice pack charges, or dry ice charges. These charges will appear separate from the shipping charges on your order upon checkout.

Certain restrictions apply, such as orders with refrigerated or frozen foods shipping to states in Areas Three, Four or Five (See area list above). Areas Three, Four and Five are outside of the two-day ship time required to keep refrigerated and frozen foods cold during transit and require expedited shipping. If your order includes an unusually large amount of very heavy items, such as a case or more of beverages, or multiple bags of dog food, we reserve the right to not honor free shipping. This issue will be dealt with on an individual basis, and you will be notified if your order does not qualify.

Shipping to APO/FPO
  • Orders shipped to APO/FPO will be shipped via USPS Priority. Delivery time will be approximately 10-15 days depending on the destination. The exact shipping charges will be charged to your credit card after the order is placed.

  • We want your order to arrive safe and sound. During the warmer months(May-October), it's time to seriously think about protecting the perishable items (chocolates, cookies, donuts, lip balm, flax oil, marshmallows etc ) from melting while your order is in the hands of UPS or USPS. As a solution, we sell a Uline Ice Pack that will be placed into your shipping box as added protection against the summer heat.
  • Please keep in mind if you live outside 2 shipping days from our location in Marietta, Ga, the ice pack alone may not completely protect perishable items from melting. We highly recommend selecting expedited shipping such as UPS 3 day select or 2nd day air and purchasing the ice pack to ensure optimal protection.

What kind of shipping material do you use?
  • We recycle shipping boxes and packing material. Our packing material will be: newspapers, magazines, bubble wrap and shipping peanuts. We also sell Uline Ice Packs to help protect perishable items (chocolates, marshmallows, cookies, flax oil, lip balm) from melting during the warmer months (May-October)

  • Yes, to help keep our prices low, there is a $10.00 order minimum.

How do I place an order?

Order payment options:

  • Online- place your order safely and securely through our online store: www.cosmosveganshoppe.com. You will receive an email confirmation once your order is placed.
  • Fax - fax your order 24 hours a day 7 days a week to 678-921-0169. Please be sure to include contact name, phone number, shipping address, item number, quantity and payment method. You can fax an order and send us a check or money order when the order is complete or you can provide your credit card information. *note sending your credit card information via fax is not secure. However, once your order is complete, we will destroy the credit card number.

  • Mail- mail your order: 672 Highland Avenue NE Atlanta, Ga 30312. If you need to mail in an order, an easy way is to proceed to the checkout right before confirmation, print out the page and send it to us along with check or money order. Send us an email with your order request so we can put your items aside.

How do I pay for my order?


  • We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Paypal, checks and money orders. All credit card orders placed online are transfered securely through SSL ( Secure Sockets Layer) and processed by a 3rd party credit card company. Make checks and money order payable to: Cosmo's Vegan Shoppe. *note* Checks must clear before the order is shipped. Please allow 5-10 business days for checks to clear.
  • We do not accept cash.

Will my payment information be encrypted?
  • Yes. All payment information, which includes your credit card number and your customer account information is encrypted through a 128 bit secure sockets layer ( SSL) connection. At the bottom of every page, you can click on the Geotrust True BusinessID for proof that your shopping experience will be 100% secure. All credit card transactions are handled by a 3rd party credit card verification company. We do not store credit card numbers on our site and we do not archive them in our database.

Will I be charged sales tax?
  • Georgia residents will be charged 8% sales tax. If you live outside of Georgia and live in the U.S., you will not be charged sales tax.
  • If you live outside the U.S. and place an order with us, you might have to pay custom fees and/or taxes. You will be responsible for paying any customs fees and/or taxes. Cosmo's Vegan Shoppe does not have any control over any custom fees or taxes charged.

What is your policy on lost, stolen, tampered and damaged packages?
  • We want your shopping experience with Cosmo's Vegan Shoppe to be enjoyable and we want your order to arrive safe and sound. On some occasions, beyond our control, a package may end up lost, stolen, tampered with or damaged.
    • For lost packages, please make sure you have checked your shipping location thoroughly. Sometimes UPS or USPS drivers will leave a package on the front porch, under the porch, in front of the garage or at a neighbor's location. For USPS deliveries, you may need to contact your local post office for assitance in tracking down your package. On some occasions, the post office will hold packages for pick up.
      For UPS lost packages, you can contact UPS directly @ 1-800-PICK-UPS for tracking assistance. If you are still unable to locate your package, please give us a call 800-260-9968 and we will do our best to assist.
    • For stolen packages or packages that have been tampered with, Cosmo's Vegan Shoppe is not responsible for replacing the items that were stolen or tampered with. We truly empathize with anyone who
      may experience such an event, however, we have no control over your package once it leaves our business.
      • If you selected USPS priority, we now offer the option to purchase insurance. If you selected insurance, we may file a claim with the USPS on your behalf. If you do not choose the insurance, the USPS may not be able to assist.
      • If you selected UPS and your package was lost or stolen, we may file a claim on your behalf.
    • For damaged packages, give us a call @ 800-260-9968 and we may file a claim on your behalf.
      • If you selected USPS Priority and selected insurance, we may file a claim on your behalf. If you did not purchase insurance, we may not be able to file a claim.

  What is your return policy?

  • We want you to be happy with the products your purchase from Cosmo's Vegan Shoppe. We make every effort to provide high quality products that are free from damage and well within any expiration date. If for some reason you are unhappy with a product, you may return it to us within 30 days for a refund, exchange, or store credit.
  • You are responsible for any shipping charges incurred when sending a product back to us. You will not be credited the original shipping charge from the original order. The shipping charge will be waived or credited back to you if the return is due to an error on our part. We do not accept items that are opened, used, melted, eaten etc. Opened or used items are not eligible for a refund.
  • If you need to return a pair of shoes, shirt, hoodie or a belt due to a sizing problem, we will be happy to ship a replacement free of charge for one time. For all subsequent exhanges, you will be responsible for all shipping charges.
  • If you need to exhange a pair of shoes, shirt, hoodie or a belt for another style or color, you will be responsible for all shipping charges.
  • We are unable to issue refunds for perishable food items, such as, frozen foods (frozen faux meats, frozen meals, frozen desserts, chocolates, cookies, marshmallows, lip balm, donuts, fake cheese, etc) or heat sensitive items such as flax oil. Please be aware that if you order any heat sensitive items in the summer, you will need to use an express shipping method to keep your products from melting. You may also want to purchase an Ice Pack along with express shipping to ensure optimal protection. We do not accept returns for any melted items. Do you have a walk in store?
  • No. We moved from our retail store to an office/warehouse space on April 1, 2009. If you are local or traveling through Georgia, you are welcome to visit and shop our showroom. Our visiting hours are Monday-Friday 12-4, Saturday 12-6 and closed on Sunday. You may also schedule an appointment for a time that is convenient for you. Are all of the products on your website in stock?

  • The items available for purchase on our site are all stocked in our store. If an item is out of stock in the store, it will be listed as out of stock on our website also. If for some reason you have purchased something on our site that we are out of stock on, you will be notified of this immediately.

  • No. Every item you purchase will ship directly from our store location.

Do you offer products at wholesale prices?

  • Cosmo’s is a retail store, therefore we are unable to offer products for wholesale. Please contact the manufacturer directly if you are looking for items to re-sell.

Do you know where I can pick up these products locally?

  • Cosmo’s ships almost anywhere in the world. But if you are interested in purchasing any of our products from another retailer, your best bet is to contact the product manufacturer directly to find out if said product can be found at a store near you.

I make really cool purses/scarves/aprons/t-shirts/earrings/soaps/etc. Will you sell them?

  • Maybe. We are always on the lookout for new and exciting vegan items to offer our customers. Are the items you make vegan? If so, you are welcome to send us wholesale information on your goodies. Are you vegan? Even better. We love supporting the vegan community. But please don’t be mad at us if we choose not to carry your products. We are small, therefore we have to choose what we carry very carefully.

Who is Cosmo?

  • Cosmo (Moe) is our eleven year old black cat. Despite him being the owner of Cosmo’s Vegan Shoppe, we can’t get him to pack a single box. He’s cute, but lazy.

Is everything vegan? Really?

  • Yes! We work very hard to make sure every product we sell is 100% vegan. Squinting at all those ingredient lists and calling companies can get tedious, and we are happy to do it!

What about human rights?

  • Yes, we care about the humans, too. In fact, we only carry clothing, shoes, wallets, belts, bags, etc. that are made without the use of sweatshop labor. We do not carry products made in China, even if a company claims that their China-made product is sweatshop-free. Until the Chinese government fully supports fair working conditions and fair wages for workers, we can’t trust the product to truly be “sweatshop-free”.

Why do you carry such expensive vegan shoes? I can go to Payless and get a pair of leather-free shoes for 20 bucks!

  • We hear you. It’s very tough to find an inexpensive pair of shoes made in a sweatshop-free factory by workers earning a living wage. The good news is that we carry sweatshop-free shoes made of high quality materials that will hopefully last you a good long time with proper care.

When I opened my box, there were Styrofoam peanuts used as packing. Eeek! Don’t you care about the environment?

  • Running an online business does require the use of packing material. However, the majority of shipping material we use in customer orders is being reused. You see, all of our vendors send products to us in boxes with packing material. So we often reuse boxes and packing material that has been sent to us. On the rare occasion that we actually purchase any packing material, then it is biodegradable cornstarch peanuts.
