Hey there, and happy Friday! So, you've heard of Daiya Vegan Cheese, right? You know, the cheese that you guys buy as fast as we can bring it in? Well, Cosmo's now has the retail packs of Daiya available for purchase! The retail bags are 8 oz. sized, and right now they are priced the same as our repacked Daiya 8 oz. bags were, at $5.49 each. The big difference, besides the colorful packaging, is the shelf life is longer on the retail bags. Unopened, they will be good for as long as the date stamped on the bag, and this week's shipment is good through August! Once you open the bag, then you have about a week to consume the Daiya's cheesy goodness, or else you can freeze it. And for those of you who like to stock up, don't worry! We still offer the 5 lb. bags of Daiya at a discounted $40.25 each.

Since the warmer weather has arrived early this year, we want to give a friendly reminder about chocolates and marshmallows being easily meltable. We know how sad it is to receive a box of goodies in the mail, only to have chocolates arrive in a puddle, and marshmallows congealed into some kind of mutant monster marshmallow. If you are ordering these kinds of items in the summer, please consider ordering an ice pack or two with your shipment. On every chocolate and marshmallow product page, you will find a bright blue button to the right that says "Buy Ice Pack With Thermal Bubble Wrap". This button will take you where you need to go in order to purchase the cold stuff for shipping. Ice packs only stay cold for about 2 days, so be sure to keep this in mind when choosing our shipping option. We just want your vegan treats to arrive safe and sound!

Cosmo's is participating in the Worldwide Vegan Bake Sale again this year, and it's going to be a fun time! This year the sale will be held right here in the Cosmo's showroom in Marietta, GA. Saturday, May 1st is the date, and 12:00PM-4:00PM is the time. There will be tons of tempting treats for you to purchase at this event, including danishes, bagels, cupcakes, cream-filled cookies, crumb cake, scones, gluten-free treats, and much more!

All of the proceeds for this year's vegan bakesale will benefit Ahimsa House. Ahimsa House is dedicated to helping the human and animal victims of domestic violence across Georgia reach safety together. Find out more about the important work Ahimsa House does by visiting their website here.

We have added some new vegan grocery items to the ever-expanding Cosmo's selection. Check it out!

VBites Cheezly- Cheezly Vegan Cheese is back in stock, with a new name (now VBites), a new look, and some new flavors, too! A Soy Free version of Cheddar Cheezly is now available, in addition to the new Melting Pepper Jack, Smoked Cheddar, and all of your old favorites.

We have some new seasonings in stock from Vegetarian Express, including the tasty Parma Zaan Sprinkles, Pepper-Like Seasoning, and All-Purpose Veggie Salt.

Organic coconut products are all the rage among the health conscience these days. For those of you who love all things coconut, we now have Organic Coconut Flour and Organic Creamed Coconut.

To help make your meals a bit quicker and healthier, we now offer Microwavable Rice & Grain Blends by Seeds of Change. Simply tear the top off the pouch, and heat in the microwave for 90 seconds. We have been enjoying these for lunch ourselves here at the shoppe. Our current favorite is the Quinoa & Whole Grain Brown Rice Blend, heated up and topped with a few of the Gardein Beefless Tips.

Easter is April 4th- is your vegan Easter basket ready? Check out our selection of tasty vegan bunny and egg shaped treats here. We found a luscious new candy for Easter this year, "The Good Egg" by Rescue Chocolate! The Good Egg is filled with creamy chocolate ganache, and sits in it's own little straw nest. Attention Atlanta folks! Cosmo's is putting together a screening of the movie Fowl Play tonight at Wonderroot.

Fowl Play is a documentary from Mercy For Animals that takes viewers on an unforgettable journey behind the closed doors of some of the country's largest egg production facilities and graphically illustrates the heartbreaking plight of laying hens condemned to lives crowded inside file-drawer sized cages.

Through touching interviews with animal rescuers, undercover investigators, veterinarians, and animal behaviorists, we hear powerful stories motivated by kindness and courage from the dedicated individuals who are fighting to save the modern day hen- perhaps the most abused and exploited animal on earth.

Connecting the dots between consumer demand for meat, dairy and eggs and the perpetuation of animal abuse, Fowl Play leaves viewers with a groundbreaking message of personal responsibility and the potential each of us holds to change the world- one meal at a time.

The stop is located at Memorial Dr. and Stovall St.
WonderRoot is just 0.1 miles west of the bus stop.
Bus Route 21 is fed by the Five Points Station and Kensington Station.
