Hey folks! We hope that everyone has enjoyed the holiday season so far. We have been busy little elves this month, packing and shipping your gifts out with care. Many of you have placed orders this week, so we just want to let you know that UPS is not delivering ground packages on Thursday or Friday, and USPS is not delivering on Friday. This means that most of the refrigerated or frozen food orders placed today through the end of the week will need to be held until Monday. For details on shipping times this week, please see another one of Ken's handy-dandy shipping pages here. Also, for you locals and for those passing through our fair city this week, the Cosmo's showroom will be closed on Friday for New Year's Day. We will be back all fresh-faced on Saturday, so see you then!

Guess what we recently found out? Tofutti products are no longer made with sugar that has been bone char processed! While the non-hydrogenated cream cheese and non-hydrogenated sour cream have always been a safe bet for vegans who shun bone-char processed sugar, now the rest of Tofutti's otherwise vegan foods are bone-char free. Pretty cool, right? The first thing we did upon finding out this news was order in a bunch of Tofutti's Pizza Pizzaz frozen pizzas. These pizzas were one of favorite vegan junk foods "back in the day", and we hope you will like them, too. These are a frozen food, so standard frozen food restrictions apply to shipping.

Luckily, if you are within the U.S. we are still able to get your package to it's destination in time for the big day next week. Hey everyone, we've got some news you might need before Thanksgiving. Unfortunately, we are all sold out of the Celebrations Roasts (both sizes), the Stuffed Hazelnut Cranberry Roast En Croute, and the Match Holiday Roasts are going fast. However, we do still have some Tofurkys left, and they are priced below retail! We will be restocking most of the holiday roasts before the December holidays, so no worries there. We still have plenty of gravy, more gravy, and lots of other holiday essentials.

We are pretty big fans of vegan Match Meats around here. In fact, did you know that Cosmo's has been offering Match Meats for over a year now? Well, we have! Check out our frozen faux meats section and find all six flavors of Match.

This year, Match has sent us a special shipment of their Premium Vegan Stuffed Holiday Roasts! The roasts are in very limited quantity, so be sure to purchase yours soon before they're gone for the season. I know we keep saying that about our seasonal products, but it's very true. If you are unable to grab your own Match Stuffed Holiday Roast this year, you can always try your hand at making one yourself! Match has been kind enough to share their recipe here.

We have a couple of new products available to tell you about. First up is a "try me" size of Black Salt. Black Salt lends a pungent, egg-like flavor to any dish you season with it. Think of how much awesome this will add to your tofu scrambles! Black Salt is called for in many vegan recipes, including the Vegan Omelette recipes in the best selling cookbook Vegan Brunch.

Also new this week is the 10th Anniversary Edition of How It All Vegan! Geez, has it really been ten years? This special edition includes five new recipes and a full color photo section. And of course all of your old favorites are still there. Our friend Jeanette has some of her beautiful vegan pottery featured in the photos, too!

Holiday Hours- Cosmo's showroom will be closed on Monday, Sept. 7th in honor of Labor Day. Since UPS and the postal service are both taking the day off too, that means all orders placed this weekend will ship out on Tuesday. Now go out and enjoy summer's last hurrah!
