New Stuff!
We have added some new vegan grocery items to the ever-expanding Cosmo's selection. Check it out!
VBites Cheezly- Cheezly Vegan Cheese is back in stock, with a new name (now VBites), a new look, and some new flavors, too! A Soy Free version of Cheddar Cheezly is now available, in addition to the new Melting Pepper Jack, Smoked Cheddar, and all of your old favorites.
We have some new seasonings in stock from Vegetarian Express, including the tasty Parma Zaan Sprinkles, Pepper-Like Seasoning, and All-Purpose Veggie Salt.
Organic coconut products are all the rage among the health conscience these days. For those of you who love all things coconut, we now have Organic Coconut Flour and Organic Creamed Coconut.
To help make your meals a bit quicker and healthier, we now offer Microwavable Rice & Grain Blends by Seeds of Change. Simply tear the top off the pouch, and heat in the microwave for 90 seconds. We have been enjoying these for lunch ourselves here at the shoppe. Our current favorite is the Quinoa & Whole Grain Brown Rice Blend, heated up and topped with a few of the Gardein Beefless Tips.

Lots of new products arrived today, and we hope you like 'em!
First we have a couple of sweet treats. Vegan Madagascar Vanilla Wafers by Back to Nature give us a hankering for some southern-style banana pudding. And Q.bel's Double Dark Wafer Bars remind us of a Kit Kat bar, only vegan and not full of junky ingredients.

Amy's now has a gluten-free vegan Macaroni & Cheeze made with Daiya Vegan Cheese! This stuff is gooooood.

New Stuff!
Hey! Have you heard about a new vegan cheese on the market called "We Can't Say It's Cheese"? Well, this tasty and wholesome food is now available in our part of the country. "We Can't Say It's Cheese" dips and spreads are made from whole grain oatmeal, and taste mighty good. Personally, we've been tearing into the Hickory-Smoked flavored spread like there's no tomorrow. New Stuff and V-Day
Hey everyone! We've been working our UPS carrier extra hard this week with all the new vegan products that have been rolling in. You should have seen his face when a couple hundred pounds of Evolution Dog and Cat food arrived yesterday. That's right! After many, many customer requests over the years, Cosmo's now offers Evolution Dog and Cat food in 5 lb. and 10 lb. bags. Remember when you swore to be true to us forever if we would carry this one product? Well, we're holding you to that.
In addition to dog and cat kibble, we also got in lots and lots of people kibble! Bulk 1 lb. bags of flavored TVP in five flavor varieties: Beef Bits, Sausage Crumbles, Chicken Strips, Beef Strips, and Chorizo-Sausage Chunks are now available for your dining pleasure.
We have quite a few new book titles in stock this week, but we haven't been able to post them all to the site yet. As of today, we have two lovely, full-color books to show you.
The owners of Herbivore Clothing, Josh and Michelle, are a couple of our favorite people. These clever activists and vegan business owners have released a book of every Herbivore design they have released since Herbivore began. The Art of Herbivore or Somebody Give the Vegan Corndog a Handclap is a book that we think you will really enjoy, especially if you have a sense of humor.
For those who are living with food allergies, have we got a book for you. The Allergen-Free Baker's Handbook is full of recipes free from gluten, wheat, dairy, eggs, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, and sesame. This book is just gorgeous too, full of pretty color pictures of baked treats.
And last but certainly not least, we have plenty of Valentine's Day goodies in store! Lots of hearts, lots of pink, and plenty of CHOCOLATE! Check out the full selection here, and be sure to notice these sweet little limited edition Marshmallow Hearts from Sweet & Sara.

Happy New Year, folks! Things are getting back to normal here around the shoppe, with new products available now, more new products on the way, and plenty of restocks of your favorite vegan goodies.

Organic Whipped Puddings by Soy Yummi Foods- A couple cups of these rich, tasty puddings from Canada have already found their way to our bellies. Funny how that happens.
Rice Vegan Slices by Galaxy Foods- Because ten vegan cheese options just isn't enough. More! More!
Reduced Fat Vegenaise- Did you make a New Year's resolution to stop slathering full-fat Vegenaise on everything you put in your mouth? Or was that just us?
Earth Balance Vegan Buttery Spread- Because we love Earth Balance and we really do listen to customer requests.
Coffee Creamer by Mimic Creme- For all you coffee drinkers out there.
We have some more new stuff up our sleeves, too. Big things are happening! We just installed some extra shelving and another merchandising cooler to make room for all the new products that will be coming in over the next month or two. Stay tuned for details!

What's a Cupcapron?
Vegan artist Becky Striepe from Glue & Glitter just dropped off some adorable aprons for us to sell. Cupcake + Apron = Cupcapron! Check out the "Blueberry Cheesecake" and "Banana Bread" versions of a Cupcapron.
You know what you can do while wearing a Cupcapron? Bake delicious vegan goodies! The 100 Best Vegan Baking Recipes By Kris Holechek is the new Deal of the Day, priced at only $9.95.
Guess what we recently found out? Tofutti products are no longer made with sugar that has been bone char processed! While the non-hydrogenated cream cheese and non-hydrogenated sour cream have always been a safe bet for vegans who shun bone-char processed sugar, now the rest of Tofutti's otherwise vegan foods are bone-char free. Pretty cool, right? The first thing we did upon finding out this news was order in a bunch of Tofutti's Pizza Pizzaz frozen pizzas. These pizzas were one of favorite vegan junk foods "back in the day", and we hope you will like them, too. These are a frozen food, so standard frozen food restrictions apply to shipping.
Are you still interested in buying some vegan prezzies for Christmas? Well, aren't you last minute! Luckily, if you are within the U.S. we are still able to get your package to it's destination in time for the big day next week. This new book title has been flying off the shelf since we tweeted about their arrival just a few hours ago. In fact we only have a couple copies left! But if you aren't able to purchase your copy this weekend, please don't fret. We have more coming in just a few days!
Another newbie product that arrived today are the mini marshmallows from Sweet & Sara. These are the same gourmet marshmallow goodies you know from Sweet & Sara, just cut down for ease of use into a nice cup of hot cocoa. Each little bag contains 2.5 oz of baby mallows for only $1.99.

We have a great new cookbook in stock called Quick and Easy Vegan Comfort Food by Alicia C. Simpson. We are so happy that an Atlanta vegan is out there making waves with her great new book! Alicia is just as sweet as pie, and her new book looks simply fabulous. She even shares a few sample recipes on her website here. We had a chance to whip up a couple of Alicia's recipes in the Cosmo's Test Kitchen. This is the Spicy Buffalo Bites and the Kale with Grits Cakes. Yummm!

New Stuff!
Hey everyone! Sorry about our brief absence this past week. We had a great time in Sarasota Springs at the Veg Fest. Thanks to those of you who stopped by our table to say hi! We always love meeting you guys in person, it makes us feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
We do have a couple new products for you this week. One is Sjaak's Organic Chocolate Bites in special Halloween wrapping. Choose from Peanut Butter or Orange. Or choose both!
Also new this week is a great new book title. 100 Best Vegan Baking Recipes by Kris Holechek is in stock and ready for purchase. You may remember Kris' first self-published cookbook we had a few years ago called The Damn Tasty Vegan Baking Guide. That book sold so fast, we still have people contact us about it! Kris is back with 100 solid vegan baking recipes that are sure to please. Many of the recipes from Damn Tasty are included in her new book, along with many new recipes. Now get to baking!

New Stuff and Holiday Hours
We have a couple of new products available to tell you about. First up is a "try me" size of Black Salt. Black Salt lends a pungent, egg-like flavor to any dish you season with it. Think of how much awesome this will add to your tofu scrambles! Black Salt is called for in many vegan recipes, including the Vegan Omelette recipes in the best selling cookbook Vegan Brunch.
Also new this week is the 10th Anniversary Edition of How It All Vegan! Geez, has it really been ten years? This special edition includes five new recipes and a full color photo section. And of course all of your old favorites are still there. Our friend Jeanette has some of her beautiful vegan pottery featured in the photos, too!
Holiday Hours- Cosmo's showroom will be closed on Monday, Sept. 7th in honor of Labor Day. Since UPS and the postal service are both taking the day off too, that means all orders placed this weekend will ship out on Tuesday. Now go out and enjoy summer's last hurrah!

Therefore, Daiya does require shipping with a cooler and ice pack. If shelling out the extra $5.99 for the cooler & ice pack hurts a bit, you may want to consider adding some refrigerated products to your order to get more bang for your buck. We can fit 6-10 refrigerated foods in one cooler, so if you only want one or two bags of Daiya, perhaps we can interest you in some other cooler goodies? Unfortunately the cooler is necessary in order to have your Daiya Vegan Cheese arrive to you safe and ready to eat. It's so worth it though, ya'll. Daiya makes every meal better. Remember last Friday when we told you some new products were coming in this week: "something wacky and junk-foody and something practical and affordable"? Well my friends, the time is now. First for the practical and affordable.

Now on to the wacky and junk-foody. Ladies and gentleman, we bring you Vegan Pork Rinds! We know it's weird, and we totally get that they're not the least bit healthy. However, for those of us (Leigh, for example) raised in the deep south, pork rinds are a common snack from our childhood. So if you're vegan and want a cruelty-free take on this common Georgia gas station food, then today is your lucky day! maybe you could keep the theme going and wash 'em down with some vegan jerky? Just don't live on the stuff. Like cookies, we suppose vegan pork rinds are also considered a "sometime food".

Also new this week is the September + October edition of VegNews Magazine. There's lots of food talk in this issue, including a yummy looking recipe for Phyllo Strudel.
For those of you who love Mozzarella Cheezly, we now have an economical 2 pound size. And it's on sale! You could make a ton of pizza with that.

New Stuff and Restocks!
We have two flavors of Cheezly back in stock, and at a new, lower price! It's now only $6.99 for a block of fancy, imported vegan cheese.
Also back in stock are the glorious Laura Lee's Peanut Candies. Hooray for that!
We just received a shipment of some new vegan condoms from the UK called Fusion. They come in plain, or in freaky flavors such as chocolate, banana, and strawberry. Just look at those bananas! *GASP!*
In more wholesome news, we have a cute new Tee shirt design in from Herbivore Clothing. "I'm Vegan and I Love You". Cute little elephant!

Sweet & Sara's new Rocky Road Bark is back in stock, and as tasty as ever! How can you not love chocolate with marshmallow chunks and almonds? But please remember, chocolate melts in the heat, therefore we strongly suggest ice packs with products like this.
